The UK regulator is pushing for GDPR compliance


Compliance with the GDPR is not rocket science

The British Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and the Information Commissioners Office (ICO) want to prepare companies for the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

The duo have released an update on GDPR that will go into effect on May 25, 2018. The FCA sees this as a step forward in improving data protection and the security of personal data and is regulated and enforced in the UK by the ICO.
